General (R) Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Nik Ismail b. Nik Mohamed

FEM EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN

General (R) Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Nik Ismail b. Nik Mohamed served in the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) for almost 38 years and retired as the Chief of the Royal Malaysian Air Force on January 30, 2007. General Tan Sri Nik Ismail (R) attended numerous professional and academic courses in the country and in the USA, Australia and India. He also completed Fellowship programs at Harvard University, USA, and at Cambridge University, UK. While on active service, he sat on the Board of Directors of LTAT (Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera), Airod Sdn Bhd, ATSC (Aerospace Technology Systems Corp) and SME Ordance Sdn Bhd. He was the Chairman of Zetro Services Sdn Bhd and Sepang Aircraft Engineering Sdn Bhd until his recent retirement in early 2011. He is also on the board of the public service commission for the deputy king of Malaysia for the state of Kelantan.

 

Devraj

FEM DIRECTOR

Devraj heads up several business consortiums in Asia operating in the sectors of power, energy and real estate. He brings knowledge of private banking and financial instruments and, as an established venture capitalist, manages his own diverse portfolio of investments. During his early 30s, Devraj worked for the World Bank in the US and served for over three years in the upper management of a Middle Eastern sovereign fund based in Zurich. Devraj is originally from Singapore and speaks several languages fluently. He was educated, both, in the UK and the US, where he graduated with a Masters in Business Administration in the state of Illinois. He has since spent the last 20 years in Central Europe and Russia during which time he has successfully supervised many acquisitions involving major Asian companies in Central and Eastern European markets. He was also advisor to an Asian government in resolving complex matters in Eastern Europe during the 1990s through to the 2000s.

 

Donal Bailey

Donal is an investment manager providing M&A advisory for global clients raising both debt and equity on the capital markets and among his network of Family Offices. As asset manager, Donal has advised successful Global Asset Equity Funds in Private Equity and Venture Capital since 2003. During his tenure, Donal has grown strategic portfolios of firms based on a comprehensive long-range fund strategies for selecting and building uniquely specialized niche firms in Banking, Consumer Finance, Real Estate, Media, Professional Services and Energy. Donal is a graduate of The Citadel, Charleston South Carolina, holds BS and MS degrees with post graduate studies at Harvard Business School.
